WhatCounts’ highly experienced Delivery Team can manage your email reputation, productivity and sending results with expert advice and recommendations. Platform set-up and configuration, IP warming, delivery monitoring, reputation monitoring and delivery consultations are a few of the services we provide. ISP Relationships:

WhatCounts is able to maintain ISP relationships by actively participating in MAAWG (Messaging Anti-Abuse Work Group), the OTA (Online Trust Alliance) as well as staying active on Deliverability.com. We monitor deliverability details using platform tools and through resources provided by our partnership with Return Path.

Spam Thresholds and Complaint Mediation:

WhatCounts tracks complaints via ISP feedback loops and maintains delivery by rigorous investigation into DNS’s provided by the ISP’s. We also use Return Path’s Delivery Tools suite to identify issues with Authentication, DNS and Inbox, Bulk/Junk and Missing percentages.

WhatCounts tracks complaints for all ISPs that have publicly available Feedback Loops such as:

  • White-listing and feedback loops for AOL and Outblaze
  • Feedback loops and SDNS for Hotmail
  • Feedback loops for Comcast, Cox, Earthlink, Blue Tie, Excite, iWon, MyWay, Mailtrust, Road Runner (via Time Warner), USA.net, Yahoo!, Mailserver, SpamCop.net
  • White-listing for United Online and Barracuda

WhatCounts works with email authentication, reputation, or certification services in a number of ways. We are a partner with ReturnPath and offer the ReturnPath Certification program. We require that all senders are setup with SIDF, DKIM, Domain Keys and SPF as well as rDNS and the correct DNS authentication.

ISP Filtering:

Our Delivery team looks at the reputation of the IP address, complaints and checks for spam traps through the WhatCounts delivery tools. The WhatCounts Delivery Team is responsible for isolating the problem, finding a resolution and advising our clients on how to avoid the issue in the future.
