WhatCounts is seeking talented and hard-working individuals to join its Client Services and Support team. WhatCounts is a leader in the permission-based email publishing market. Our small, established company is located in Seattle's Pioneer Square, just a short walk from the ferry, train, and bus terminals.

We are looking to fill at least two Product Specialist positions. The Product Specialist is a self-motivated, quick learner who specializes in the WhatCounts platform and permission-based email delivery. This person is responsible for day-to-day interactions with clients who use our ASP platform to send newsletters and content to their subscribers through email, rss, and blogs. This includes responding to day-to-day technical support and product usage questions, training new customers, developing HTML and/or Plain-Text content for client campaigns, and working with other groups within WhatCounts to improve the customer experience. Support is provided to customers primarily via email and phone. There are opportunities for advancement into the role of Account Manager where an additional commission based on the satisfaction of your Accounts is added to your base pay. Someone with prior technical support or QA experience will excel.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and reflect a strong working knowledge of the WhatCounts platform
• Answer technical support and product usage questions via email and phone
• Train new clients through online, in-person, and/or phone training sessions
• Follow up on long term issues with clients
• Work with the development team to help resolve inconsistencies in the platform
• Work with the sales team to setup new client accounts
• Provide Professional Services to develop content and deploy campaigns according to client's program goals
• Provide content integration, editing, testing, QA, scheduling, and data monitoring based on client expectations
• Provide insight to Sales Team and Executive Team of client issues on an as needed basis

Required Technical Skills:

• Experience providing technical support for software or web-based product
• Basic knowledge of HTML

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience writing SQL language queries
