Lauren has her undergraduate and MBA from Western Washington University and is a veteran of WhatCounts, having started on the Account Management Team before transitioning into her role in Strategy. Lauren has worked with B2B and B2C customers across multiple verticals and has led many large email projects, including social, mobile, preference center launch, data integration, production, creative, acquisition, re-engagement, and many more. We asked Lauren to answer a few questions about herself and email marketing.
Q: How long have you been working for WhatCounts?
A: I’ve been working for WhatCounts for over three years.
Q: If you could give one tip to everyone doing email marketing, what would it be?
A: Email is not happening in a vacuum. While each channel has its own nuances, make sure you’re integrating your email strategies into your larger marketing plan to help provide a cohesive experience for your customers.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being the Manager of Strategic Services?
A: The opportunity to help current and future customers of WhatCounts make strategic decisions to help grow their program and ultimately send out emails I would like to receive.
Q: What are some things you enjoy when you’re not thinking about email marketing?
A: Traveling or exploring with my husband, watching a movie, trying out a new recipe or restaurant, and cuddling with my two cats Hector and Kelp.
